From decision to delivery

Steps two to five take you from saying "yes" to driving away in your own electric Land Rover. Steps six and seven are optional add-ons we offer once your car is on the road.

  1. Designing my car

Sit down with our chief engineer to spec the build. Our 40kWh upcycled drivetrain is based on a pre-owned Nissan Leaf — you choose between Short or Long Wheelbase, and Hard Top or Soft Top.

  2. Sourcing the car

Convert your own Series Land Rover, or let us find the right one for you. We work with trusted UK suppliers to track down honest, original cars worth preserving.

  3. Sign off on the build plan

Agree and sign off on the final build plan. Each conversion typically takes around six months. Pricing depends on your choices of chassis, top, trim and drivetrain, and is confirmed in writing during your consultation with our team.

  4. Delivery

Your vehicle is delivered registered as a Historic with electricity as the fuel source. That means it's road-tax exempt. Because of the modified drivetrain we recommend annual MOTs, which we can handle for you.

  5. Charging options

    Add-on

If you're able to access a home EV charger, we can recommend a solar solution which means you can charge your car directly from sunlight — potentially eliminating energy costs entirely.

  6. Ongoing maintenance

    Add-on

The motor and batteries are under warranty for six months. Beyond that, we offer a regular maintenance plan going forward for a separate charge.

  7. A finished EV Classics Series Land Rover, on the road

    Finish

A British icon, reborn for the next century

The same Land Rover the world fell in love with — silent, clean, and yours. Designed with you, built by hand in the South Downs, and a car you can pass on, not trade in.

What will it cost?

Every build is a little different

Cost depends on your chassis, wheelbase, top, trim and drivetrain choices. As an indication, the cost of supplying and fitting a 40 kWh drivetrain starts at £29,000 ex VAT, payable in instalments. We'll talk you through it properly — and confirm everything in writing — during your consultation with our team.
